Galva CUSD #224 had a great week of homecoming celebrations! The theme this year was Disney, with each class picking a specific Disney movie to focus their efforts around. The seniors chose Cars, the Juniors, Toy Story, Sophomores the Lion King and finally the freshman chose Monsters Inc as their movie of choice. The classes had several categories that they were judged on through the week, including, movie poster, skit, and hallway decorating as well as physical competitions including dodge ball, powderpuff football, boys volleyball, and of course the Olympics. The seniors came out victorious for the week followed by the juniors and freshman with the sophomores coming in last. On Tuesday night our homecoming Queen and king were crowned, Ciara Gowler and Cole Baulch. They were surrounded by their court as they reigned over the pep Rally. Rounding out the end of the week were the homecoming parade and football game, and of course the dance on Saturday Night.
