The Galva Jr/Sr High Performing Arts Boosters will hold their first meeting of the year at the high school on September 16th at 5:30 pm. All adults who have students in band, choir, or drama are invited to join the Performing Arts Boosters. They provide support by helping with concerts and productions, fundraising for field trips, activities and materials, contributing food during tech week, and whatever else may improve the experiences of our students who participate in the arts. They hold monthly meetings. If interested please plan to attend the meeting on September 16th.

On behalf of Galva Elementary School, I would like to thank Debbie Wright and Mel Foster Co. for their generous donation of school supplies! Mel Foster collected supplies the entire month of August and Galva was the school they picked to give to this year. We are so grateful!

On Sept 4, 2025 the scheduled volleyball game with Peoria Manual has changed venues. Galva will host Peoria Manual with a JV Game time of 5:30 PM and Varsity at 6:30 PM.
Miles of Smiles Dental Clinic is coming to Galva School District on October 1. There are several ways to sign up: Paper form which is coming home now, QR code, or online link. Any questions, contact Nurse Krystal. This is a great opportunity to see a dentist at school and fulfills the State Dental Requirements for ANY student in Kindergarten, 2nd Grade, 6th Grade, and 9th Grade. This service is open to ALL Galva Students.
