Reminder that practice starts tomorrow from 3:30-5:30. There will be a short parent meeting to follow. Remember you have to have a physical and a concussion baseline test prior to practice. If you do not have them, you will not be allowed to practice. The concussion testing is offered at the HS school tomorrow from 1-4 in Ms. Conlin’s room.

IHSA Fall Sports season officially begins on Monday (8.11.25). For those student-athletes needing a concussion test, this will take place on Monday from 1 - 4 pm. You will meet with Trainer Kylee in her HS classroom to have this done. Remember, this MUST be done before you can begin practice. ALL FRESHMEN NEED TO ATTEND THIS, who plan on playing any sport. If you have any physicals or health paperwork, you can also drop things off at this time. If you aren't sure what you need to have completed before starting practice, email Nurse West or Trainer Kylee, and they will let you know.
HS Volleyball Practices will begin on Monday.
HS gym from 3:15 - 6:15 pm.

The JH Softball team defeated ROWVA/Williamsfield 19-4 with nine hits in the game. McAdam, Leaf, Gale, and Traff were top hitters.

On Monday, August 11, 2025, the Galva Football Team will be doing a practice under the lights. They will light up the sky and the field from 8:30 PM to 11:30 PM. If you have any questions, please contact Head Varsity Football Coach Zach Anderson.

JH Softball today, August 7, 2025, is at the Galva Park District and has a 4:00 PM start time. We will take on ROWVA/Williamsfield. Go Cats!
JH Softball- Galva vs A/W final score 10-3. Galva battled well. Emma Nance struck out 5 batters. Grace Conrad and Emma Nance had two hits each. Jaylynn DeCrane batted a run in.
REMINDER: Registration is OPEN! If you are a NEW student to the district, Pre-Register at our district website www.galva224.org. If you are a RETURNING student, please log in to PowerSchool and complete your registration.
JH Softball TODAY at 4:30 PM at the Galva Park District. It is our home opener for the team. Come and cheer them on as we take on Annawan-Wethersfield. We hope to see you there.
Students return to Galva Jr/Sr High School on Thursday, August 14th! School begins at 8:00am and ends at 1:55pm. We will have a 1:55pm dismissal schedule through August 22nd.
On Wednesday, August 13th, Galva Jr/Sr High School hosts Locker Night from 4-6pm. Students and their families are welcome to walk the halls, meet teachers, and place school supplies in lockers.
