Wildcats Volleyball travels to Putnam County tonight.


The High School Cross Country Team had a great start to their season out at Midland. Bryant ran one of his best times at 20:03. Freshman Randal Engels beat his best 5K time coming in at 23:00. Looking forward to see what these athletes do on Thursday in Rockridge!

This week starts our new "Essential 25" Vocabulary Instruction. Galva Elementary will focus on one new vocabulary word each week. The list reflects research that shows these words are critical to a student's academic vocabulary. Whether it is a question on an assessment, an essay prompt in class, or communicating with peers and teachers, academic vocabulary allows students to truly understand the questions that are being asked of them.

The Galva High School Marching Band was representing GHS in the annual Hog Days Parade in Kewanee today!








The galva Jr. high girls had another great run at the Michele Stewart Invite in Chillicothe! Parker Kaiser and Layla Anderson finished together with times of 18:15 and 18:21 respectively! Iris Mosley got a personal best time and she finished with newcomer Sammy Fox. The girls finished together sharing a time of 19:10!
