Wildcat Nation: I received a check in the mail for around $150 for Galva Elementary because of the Casey's Cash for Classrooms Program. Above all else, THANK YOU!! Calling all Galva High School band members!
Band Camp will be held July 31-Aug 3 from 4pm-8pm daily at Galva High School. There will be a 30 minute break at 6pm each night so bring a snack if you like. Don’t forget to bring water And Your Instrument! Please meet by the band room doors and BE READY to play each evening by 4pm! We have a great lineup set for this fall and we can’t wait to get back at it!
There will be a softball meeting Tuesday, July 18, at 5:30 pm at the softball diamond for all girls in grades 6-8 interested in playing junior high softball.
Mrs. Norway is hard at work this week at a code.org workshop! 35 hours of computer science this week in order to prepare for the school year!
Galva High School band and choir students and boosters will be serving up pork burgers and nachos this Sunday during the Levitt AMP Galva Music Series. Come out to Wiley Park and support our young musicians while enjoying some live music.

Our 8th graders are finishing up their first full day in DC with a Ghost Tour in historic Alexandria. We've seen the Air and Space Museum, the National Museum of African-American History and Culture, and Mt. Vernon! We also had a picture stop at the White House, saw the Washington Monument, and the World War II Memorial. It's been a busy day but lots of fun!
