We are planning our first ever alumni pep band night! It will be January 9th at the Galva Boys vs. Ridgewood Game. We will let people into the band room at 5:30pm and have a rehearsal at 6:00pm! We will also have a light reception in the band room, courtesy of our performing arts boosters. Dust off the horns and come play! If you want to come and play, please sign up at the link below. We will digitize music and send it out to you early to work on before the night. Also, we are opening this up to any friends of the program. Hello 7th Grade Families!
I know it seems early but it is the time of year to begin planning for the annual 8th Grade Trip to Washington D.C. in 2027. Current 7th Graders and their families are invited to an informational meeting on Wednesday 11-19-25 at 6:00 PM in the Galva Jr/Sr HS Library. The meeting will focus on cost, security, and logistics of the trip. Registering early allows for extra discounts as well as more time to spread out payments. This trip takes students to Washington D.C., Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia Beach, and Busch Gardens! This group will be our 18th group traveling to the East Coast. I hope you can take some time to learn more about this exciting opportunity for your child.

Tonight is the unofficial start of high school basketball season! Join us for Meet the Wildcats beginning at 6:00pm. We will recognize the successes of fall programs, and introduce our winter teams. The JV and Varsity Boys will scrimmage. If able, please help our holiday food drive by bringing in non-perishable items to donate.

The 8th grade girls came out on top of another nailbiter. The girls won 23-21 against Wethersfield on their 8th grade night. Their record improves to 10-2 on the season. Good luck in the LTC tournament ladies!
