This past week I was thrilled to visit with each classroom. The goal was to review and discuss The Wildcat Way. The Wildcat Way guides all that we do at Galva Elementary School. Our ultimate goal for both students and staff is to always practice safety, acceptance, organization, and respect/responsibility. To remember our goals, we remember W.I.L.D. Students answered questions about different scenarios to determine if I was giving an example of practicing or not practicing the Wildcat Way. I can proudly report that all classes scored 100%! As we navigate the new school year, The Wildcat Way will guide our thinking, decisions, and rewards. Stay tuned for news about our brand new Galva Elementary School Store! -Mr. Norway

Golf meet on 9/3 has been canceled due to conflict at Midland Golf Course.
Volleyball game on 9/7 (Labor Day) has been moved to 9/8.
Volleyball game on 10/21 vs. Abingdon-Avon is moved to 9/10, time and location is the same.
Be on the lookout later this evening for the new link for the athletic websites! The last changes will be made this evening and I will share that out once everything is correct!

Final score from the JH softball game this morning: Galva 13 Bureau Valley 1. Great work ladies, keep working hard!!

Louck seals the game with an interception with only five seconds remaining. Wildcats kneel it out to pick up the first victory of the season by a score of 22 to 14. Way to finish, Boys!
Louck sneaks it in on third and goal from inside the one. Sarver takes care of the two point conversion. Wildcats lead 22 to 14 with 21 seconds left in the game.
Cardinals' pass is intercepted by MJ Louck and returned back inside the 10 yard line. First and goal Wildcats with one minute to play in the fourth.
The Cardinals connect on a 63 yard touchdown pass to tie the game at 14 all with 133 left in the third.
And just like that, the Cardinals break off a 53 yard touchdown run. Conversion is successful. Wildcats still lead 14 to 8 with five minutes left in the third.
Donovan Sarver takes it in from the 1 yard line for the touchdown. Conversion fails. The Wildcats lead 14 to 0 with 522 left to play in the third.
