Good morning Wildcat nation. Due to the rain the JH softball meet in Henry has been canceled.

ATTENTION JH AND HS CROSS COUNTRY: There will be an informational meeting Monday August 7th at 5:30 pm under the canopy. Practice will begin for both teams on Tuesday August 8th at 5:00 pm. Reminder that all of you athletes MUST have a physical on file with the school and their concussion test complete BEFORE you can practice. Athletes not meeting these requirements you are welcome to come to the meeting and attend practice when the requirements have been fulfilled. Looking forward to seeing you! Coach McMeekan (Kuenneth)

Hello Wildcat Athletes: If you plan to participate in a sport this year, including cheer and dance, please make plans for concussion testing tomorrow August 3rd from 8:00 am until 7:00 pm. Concussion testing MUST be completed prior to your season starting. Please go to the Elementary School tomorrow between 8:00 am and 7:00 pm to take your baseline concussion test. Testing takes between 30-45 minutes. Buzz in at the main office door. Athletes will not be able to practice on Monday if this testing isn't completed. Good Morning Wildcat Nation, Each year, Galva Elementary has a need for certain clothing items for our students most in need. This year, Nurse West is seeking the following items: Most in need of Sweatpants (any colors) in the sizes Youth Small, Youth Medium, & Youth Large Somewhat in need of Sweatpants (any colors) in the sizes Adult Small, Adult Medium If you have any of these gently used items or would be willing to donate, please drop them off at the Galva Elementary School Office starting on August 1, Monday-Thursday between 8:00 am and 3:30 PM. ⛳️🏌️‍♀️🏌️‍♂️Golf practices will start Monday 8/7 @ 4 pm at Midland. Students need to be sure their sports physical is up to date and that they have completed the concussion testing. There will be a short parents meeting at approximately 4:15pm 8/7 at Midland Coach Boston

Calling all Galva High School band members! Band Camp will be held July 31-Aug 3 from 4pm-8pm daily at Galva High School. There will be a 30 minute break at 6pm each night so bring a snack if you like. Don’t forget to bring water And Your Instrument! Please meet by the band room doors and BE READY to play each evening by 4pm! We have a great lineup set for this fall and we can’t wait to get back at it!

There will be a softball meeting Tuesday, July 18, at 5:30 pm at the softball diamond for all girls in grades 6-8 interested in playing junior high softball.
