Galva Elementary Important Dates/Reminders: Wednesday 9-13-23: PSO Meeting in Elem Cafeteria at 6:00 PM Thursday 9-14-23: 11:30 Dismissal. No PreK on this day Friday 9-15-23: 2:30 dismissal. Buses will pick up at 2:30 after the parade. If your child is signing out with an organization or alternate group, busing will not be available for them. Please arrange for transportation in those cases.

It was another beautiful day for a cross country meet and the high school team ran very well! Charlotte farmer finished with a time of 23:25, dropping almost 4 minutes off her previous best time! Ian Pacheco finished in 18:32 dropping almost a minute from his previous best time. And Bryant Jeffrey had a strong race to open his high school career finishing in 19:32! What a great day to be a wildcat!

Galva JH XC Results from Princeville- Layla Anderson got a personal record (PR) with a time of 18:03. Randal Engels broke the 14 minute mark for the first time with a time of 13:55! Kiiryn Shull dropped several minutes off his first race time to get a PR with a time of 14:42. Landon Rodseth ran one of his best races with a time of 17:23. Great job Wildcats!!

Monday- super comfy day. Tuesday- hero vs villain day. Wednesday - class color day. Thursday - sidekick day (dress like your favorite sidekick/twin day) Friday - wildcat wear. class colors pre-k: red. K: orange. 1st: Yellow. 2nd: green. 3rd: blue. 4th: purple. 5th: black. 6th: white. important information- each day the best-dressed student will be enter for a chance to ride with officer brown in the squad car for the homecoming parade. Homecoming parade starts at 2pm parents are welcome to sign their students out for the parade. Students need to be picked up between 1:30-1:45 if they are not sitting with their class.
Good Morning Wildcat Nation, We are so excited to welcome students and their grandparents into our building tomorrow. Here is the entry information for our visitors: 1. All grandparents/special adult visitors will check in at a table at our playground fence entrance on the EAST side of the building. From there, they will have a short walk and a few steps to get to the cafeteria. From there, guests will be able to navigate the building as they wish based upon which grade level of their student. Parents please share this information with your students guest attending the open house. 5/6 1-1:30 cafeteria 1:30-2 classroom. 2/3/4 1:30-2 cafeteria 2-2:30 classroom. K/1 2-2:30 cafeteria 2:30-3 outside.  Therewillbestreetparkingavailableinthefrontofthebuildingandsomeadditional parking in the rear of the building. Parking is a challenge at the elementary and it may not be the smoothest situation, please be understanding and patient.  ● Withparentconsent-grandparents/guestsmaysignoutstudentsanytimeafter2pm. Each teacher will have a   sign out form. Please email your students' teacher or send a note giving them permission to be signed out.  We have gotten an overwhelmingly positive response to this event, and we are very excited to see all of our students with their special guests. Please keep in mind that this is a brand new event and there may be some bumps in the road throughout the day but all in all the goal is to have a great day! We can’t wait to see you!
